Board Members

Linda Blouin

President and Founder

After a 32-year career as a teacher in disadvantaged areas, Linda decided to retire from teaching to devote herself to other challenges.

Her energies are now reserved for her loved ones, her studies in philanthropic management and, of course, the Fairy Godmothers.

Her love for young people continues through the mission of the Fées Marraines, an organization she holds dear to her heart and for which she spares no effort.

Danielle Barbeau

Events Planning

A graduate in administration who has been with one of Quebec’s largest financial institutions for over 30 years, Danielle is Executive Assistant to the General Management of her organization.

She is closely involved in the coordination, planning and prioritization of senior management activities.

For many years, Danielle has also been involved with various non-profit boards in her community.

Volunteering has always been important to her, and she is delighted to join the Projet Fées Marraines family.

Marion Duchesne

Technologies

Founder and CEO of Mediaclip, Marion holds an MBA in Strategic Planning and a degree in Entrepreneurship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Marion is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, and is very active in the business world.

Mother of 2, she spends her time between her family, the internationalization of her business and her involvement with the Féées Marraines project.

Élisabeth Martin

Secretary

With a Master’s degree in literature from the University of Alberta, Élisabeth has worked for many years in communications and project management. After a long involvement on the Board of Directors of her daughters’ daycare services, she decided to pursue her involvement with Les Fées Marraines.

Energetic, hyperactive and culture-bound, she divides her time between her family and numerous cultural and sporting activities.

 

Isabelle Corneau

Communications

Working for a major accounting firm, Isabelle is responsible for implementing strategy and operations for the Assurance group. She is also involved in corporate responsibility initiatives at the Montreal office as local team leader.

Inspired by the idea of giving back to others, Isabelle uses her expertise and knowledge to help organizations whose goal is to promote the growth and development of young people.

In addition to her involvement with Projet Fées Marraines, she is also involved with Opération Père Noël.

Kenza Mahrouch

Trésorerie

Kenza is a CPA, CA with over 15 years’ professional experience in accounting and financial management, acquired in various sectors. Mother of 2 boys, she spends her time between work and her little family. Having long had a desire to get involved in the community, she was delighted and eager to accept the offer to take part in the Fées Marraines project.
